Notification channels
How to add alert channels, test them, assign them to monitors and control when they fire.
A channel is a destination for alerts. You can create as many as you need and assign any combination to each monitor.
Events
- Down: the monitor failed the configured number of times
- Up: the monitor recovered
- SSL expiry: 30, 7 and 1 day before
- Domain expiry: 30, 7 and 1 day before
- Heartbeat missed
- Slow: response threshold exceeded (Pro)
Supported channels
Email, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Google Chat, Matrix, Pushover, Gotify, ntfy, Pushbullet, PagerDuty, Opsgenie and webhooks. SMS and voice calls are coming soon.
Testing
Every channel has a Send test button. The test message looks like a real down alert and is logged in the events list.
Resend and escalation
Set Resend every N minutes while a monitor stays down. On Pro, escalation notifies a second channel if the incident is not acknowledged within the set time.
