What is a good response time?
Under 200 ms is excellent for a server in the same region. 200 to 600 ms is normal for dynamic pages. Above one second users notice. Large variance between attempts usually points at caching or an overloaded database.
Track it over time
A monitor records response time on every check, so you see the trend and get alerted when it crosses your threshold.
